Welcome to Helalia
Helalia Language School opened in 2008. It was founded by Helal Al-Kuwait Company, whose board asked experienced educators to help plan the school before the first day. We have been teaching Alexandria's children ever since.
As teachers, we want every child in our classes to feel safe, to be known by name, and to do their best. We are proud of our team, and we work every day to keep Helalia a friendly place where every student and every family is respected.

School rules
Four rules we ask every family to follow
These rules help us keep every school day calm and safe for your child.

Attendance
Coming to school every day is compulsory. If your child is absent because of illness, please send a medical certificate. In special family circumstances we can excuse an absence, and we look at each case on its own.

Coming back after an absence
On your child's first day back, please give the medical certificate or your letter to the form teacher.

Absence without a reason
An absence without a valid reason is counted as truancy.

Visiting the school
Parents and visitors are always welcome. Please call your child's department office to book a time. When you arrive, go to reception first and sign the visitors' book.
